Mr. Kwok Chu Nam
Po Sum On (pronounced “Po Sum On” – meaning “to keep the heart at peace”) was founded in Hong Kong in 1907 by renowned herbalist Mr. Kwok Chu Nam . Frustrated by how difficult it was for families to prepare traditional remedies for every ailment, he crafted a topical oil blending aromatic medicinal herbs to “assure the well-being of the whole family”. Generations later, Po Sum On has become an integral part of daily life in Asia, synonymous with relief and comfort. Our cheerful “happy child” logo (adopted in 1910) symbolizes lasting prosperity and joy – the same positive energy we bring to your home.
